Every project begins with our design consultation. During an initial phone call or site visit, we will discuss your space, vision and design goals. This meeting is crucial to ensure a successful collaboration and project kick-off. We will also review your timeline, budget, and any other relevant project parameters in depth.

Following your consultation, you will receive a detailed contract (or proposal). This document outlines the scope of work and design fees associated with your projects. Once the proposal is approved and signed, we’re ready to fully dive in!

Our Design Concept phase is a mix of gathering technical information and beginning to craft our visual concept.

If the project allows, we will work with your architect to gather needed documents and documentation, or return to the site to complete measurements and on-site documentation.

We will then pull together visuals that showcase the overall look and feel of your space(s) or call out details. Visuals can range from inspiration photos, sketches, or renderings, depending on your project and need.

Once we have all needed measurements and details, and our overall visual concept is approved — we will begin to put pen to paper.

During this phase you will see detailed construction plans and elevations of your space(s), along with renderings (as needed). As well as selections for furniture, materials, lighting, fabric, finishes, and more. Each step of the design development phase includes your input, while the Studio Lea team keeps track of all selections.

Once plans and selections are approved, we will move into ordering and receiving shipments for your project. This phase is predominantly behind the scenes, focusing on the coordination with our trades and vendors. Our team is dedicated to processing orders and managing custom fabricators efficiently. We meticulously track progress to ensure that everything remains on schedule, on budget, and adheres to our high-quality standards.

Our team prioritizes communication and provides regular updates, allowing you to engage in the process without unnecessary stress.

At all stages of your project, the Studio Lea team is in your corner. We will be meeting with trades and vendors regularly to answer questions, provide solutions, and keep your project moving forward. We will also be providing updates via email throughout the project until completion.

Once all the details are delivered and the dust has (mostly) settled, we’re ready to install! This process is scheduled with any relevant trades and the Studio Lea team to deliver, place and style your space. At this stage, all the final details come together and your vision is brought to life.
